Every fall at the N.C. State Fair, the Animal Science Club puts on the Milk Booth. Members of the club teach the public how to milk cows while answering any questions about the dairy industry and agriculture. The Animal Science Club also works the N.C. Cattlemen's Associate Booth to promote the beef industry of North Carolina. Members of the club also have the opportunity to halter train and work with University animals to be exhibited during the Fair, as well as acting as ringmasters for the Junior shows by assisting showmen with unruly animals and directing them around the ring.
